I see so many beautiful faces out there. Only if there were as many beautiful hearts.

A Hopeless Anachronism

A Hopeless Anachronism is a project by Souravik to expand his personal understanding of the experiences of life and the intricate exchange of energy between all things living and non-living in the universe. The aim is to experience thoughts, to create visuals and to share the stories.

Souravik is just another guy you can find next door. Besides pursuing his PhD in Robotics and Industrial Automation from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, he likes to read and write, while reflecting on his experiences in the world. Hailing from Kolkata, India, Souravik is a Bengali by mother tongue, and reads and writes in both English and Bengali. He is a dancer and choreographer, and is currently serving as the Chairperson of NTU GSA Dance Crew. As a sports enthusiast, Souravik regularly participates in Table-Tennis, Badminton, Football and Cricket. Apart from these interests, he finds occasional delight in graphic designing, and indulges in designing logos, posters, banners etc. Souravik also enjoys the appreciation of beers, wines and whiskies, and occasionally concocts various well-known cocktails.

Being fond of traveling, Souravik loves to hit the beaches, the mountains, the greens and the browns. He has interest in photography and videography and has recently started to dig deep into the arts of capturing moments. The plan is to utilize the trips to various places across South-East Asia as his opportunity to shoot or record, and knit his viewpoints together into still and motion pictures.
